A little bit of history...

I have to be honest. I aspire to be the Proverbs 31 woman...and I'm falling quite short! I love my husband and children dearly, but I'm not what you'd call a "Domestic Goddess"! Although I come from a family of amazingly domestic women, I am completely lacking that gene. I'm not good at decorating, I'm hopelessly disorganized, and I'm easily distracted (which means that although I'm a good cook, I often get caught up in something, miss the timer going off, and end up with some Cajun dishes, and by cajun, I mean blackened!!!). Despite my shortcomings (or maybe because of them), my life is often like a sitcom! Join me as I tackle some of my shortcomings and embrace the rest of them!
